CORE Markets has been recognised by the Australian Financial Review (AFR) and the Boston Consulting Group in (BCG) the AFR Sustainability Leaders List for 2023.
The list celebrates organisations that are driving impactful sustainability innovations across the Australian economy and community.
The AFR uses this list to identify, recognise, and showcase businesses that excel in their sustainability initiatives, bringing their stories to readers nationwide.
The innovation considered by the AFR and BCG teams as part of this year’s assessment process is the CORE Markets software-as-a-service platform.
The CORE Markets platform connects corporate sustainability teams, project developers and market participants to global carbon and renewable energy markets. The data, insights and tools delivered through the platform support informed, and therefore decisive, action to net zero.
Initially co-funded by Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA), the platform is a world first. It connects global supply and demand for commodities essential to solving the climate crisis and provides tools to turn data and insights into inspired action. The Emissions Manager feature lets corporate sustainability teams run their net-zero program in one place.
The acknowledgement of CORE Markets as a finalist in the 2023 list marks a significant milestone in our sustainability journey.
